Been playing about with a few different amplified worlds and I haven't seen a single desert (or cactus) been generated.
Not sure if this is a bug or on purpose, but I need some cactus 😛

There are deserts; I have seen some. Because of the biome generation, some biomes (like desert) appear less frequently than others.
