[MC-35967] Random freezing

Whenever music comes on in-game, the game freezes and i get a white screen. The game also crashes when I change volume settings while the game is running. This happens in Survival and Creative.

*What I expected to happen was..."
The game would continue running fine.

What actually happened was...:
The game would freeze when music began playing, and it would crash when I adjusted volume settings

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Adjust volume. When i adjusted volume for jukeboxes and noteblocks, it would crash
2. Or, wait for music to begin playing. During the music, my game would freeze and Id get a white screen

The Sound volume crash should be fixed with 13w42b, see MC-35655 . Are you sure you get that crash on "b" ?

Ill post the error log when i can. For some reason, it was running okay when i tried to recreate it. I am positive I was running 13w42b.

Game froze while I was on my survival world. I had to use Ctrl+Alt+Delete to exit the game. It didnt leave a crash report, but the dev console might have some info in it.

Launcher 1.2.7 (through bootstrap 5) started on windows...
