Have been attacked by 2 witches so far, way outside the witch huts, 1st incident was in extreme hills 150 blocks away from nearest hut, 2nd one just within 128 blocks and got trapped in my half built villager trading hall(screenshot attached).
I do have a witch hut nearby but it has already been turned into a farm(screenshots also attached to show coordinates).
Witches are spawning normally in the farm.
and then of course I go check docms channel and find it is a new feature, not a bug, sorry.
