When traveling through the Nether in a minecart that is passing over a lava lake, one will receive damage after a short period of time as if on fire.

This also happens with minecarts that travel over lava in the overworld and The End. it's a bug that's been around since before 1.4

that's a duplicate of MC-1377 - there is a world attached
That bug has been existing before 1.4pre. It definitely did exist in 1.3.
Just thought I'd point that out!
