Enchanted items make inventory screen do strange things

When lifting any enchanted item or tool/armor in your inventory, the inventory screen gets black spots and beacon effects dissapear.

how to recreate:
1. Have an enchanted item or tool/armor in inventory.
2. Open inventory
3. Click on the enchanted item
