Wehn i Just Got Minecraft 1.7.2, I Try To Go On Multiplayer and it will say: cannot connect to server. but when i go into 1.6.4 it finds them just fine.

Just means the server hasn't been updated to 1.7.2 yet. There was a lot of network code changed between 1.6.4 and 1.7.2, so you won't be able to connect to that server until it is updated.
Happens with nearly every major update, by the way.
