I load minecraft as usual and it says: Minecraft has crashed! Minecraft has stopped running because it encountered a problem; Failed to start game

Were you using any texture packs, because this might be the issue. Try a clean install of minecraft (be sure to back up your files).

What graphics card ? (Integrated Intel graphics is know error prone)
Latest graphics drivers ?

This is happening to me as well. I am on an 11" MacBook Air, and it does have the integrated Intel HD Graphics 3000 GPU. I've attached my crash report as well.

No, I've never loaded the game yet. This was my very first attempt to install and play it.

Clean reinstall didn't resolve the issue either. Occurs after I log in and an empty black screen shows up.

The game cannot identify your graphics card or the drivers of your graphics card don't provide any Open GL information.
Get the latest graphics card drivers.
