In 1.7.2, when I open chests and close them quickly, the opening sound plays again when closing it. Not really harmful but I feel I should tell it.
HOW TO REPROUDUCE:
Go in creative OR survival (just tested) mode (thats what I was in).
Get a chest. and place it
Open it wait 1-2 secs then close
YOu should hear the opening sound again before the closing sound

This looks like a duplicate of MC-35714 (note that defect covers duplicated sounds for a number of events, not just chests)
yep i confirm this, happens to me in survival on my server too
