Wool, colored glass and clay creates a glitch with water, pictures and other objects

During a quiet game in minecraft, I notice that when my friend was holding stained glass, clay and wool, a glitch occurred with items such as water, lava, paintings, chest and other objects. Everything works even holding the item and pressing F5 framing one of the objects affected by the bug.
