While in night vision screen turns black.

While I had the night vision and water breathing potions on and i was underwater, in creative mode, moving backwards and placing blocks by holding down the right click button, the screen went mostly black but there was a strip of white.

I thought it should' have worked normally where it places blocks with no issues with anything.

While I was moving backwards and placing blocks the screen went mostly black but a few slivers of white were present.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place blocks at water level
2. Go to Y level 51 with blocks above your head until the blocks reach the water's surface. EDIT: It has been happening at all levels below 51.
3. Move backwards and repeatedly place blocks as fast as you can until it happens
EDIT: It has been happening when i am just in water and not necessarily going backwards directly under a block. Also to undo the bug you have to go near the water's surface.

(If it matters I was facing East) EDIT: It works facing West as well. I have not tried North or South.
