What I expected to happen was...:
I expected nothing to happen
What actually happened was...:
me and my friends built a arena of (chiseld stone brick,cobble,stonebrick)and we where fighting silverfish
and the whole arena became silverfish
Steps to Reproduce:
1. put down regular (stone,stone brick,chiesled stone brick,cobble)
2. spawn a silver fish
3. hit silver fish and the regular stone will become stone monster egg

From the minecraft wiki: If left alone, silverfish can re-enter some blocks, namely cobblestone, regular stone, and stone bricks.
