When trying to go to full-screen mode, the game stops working. It shows a non-maximized Minecraft window on a normal desktop, but the desktop is non-interactive. My screen setup also switches from extended desktop to mirror screens, even after exiting Minecraft.
I am running the standard Ubuntu 13.10 kernel and drivers.

Still a thing, even on Fedora 20.1 and all Ubuntu-based distros as of 13.10. 12.04 worked fine. I din't see how this issue can be just ignored by Mojang.
