[MC-40967] Repeater powering Air block on top of piston

I was trying to create a contraption concept and this happened it shows in the image but the redstone repeater should not power the piston from where it is

Duplicate of MC-108 I'd say.
The repeater powers the piston head, which powers the piston.

I think it might be because it's powering the block under it, which powers the piston.
