The random crashing started happening on Wednesday night while afking at the spider farm in a survival white listed server on Minecraft. Everything is fine and okay as the spiders build up in the kill zone, getting ready to be crushed and killed for xp, and suddenly the computer shuts off out of nowhere. There's no exclamation of a reason why it suddenly shuts off, the computer shuts off while Minecrat is up. I tried it again and the same thing happened. The game shuts off the computer when it's up for five minutes. The computer runs just fine with Minecraft not being used. I checked the problem with Minecraft by going onto one of my survival worlds and the crashing/sudden computer shut downs still happen. I opened up my internet protection program and scanned the Minecraft launcher, Magic launcher (Minecraft lancher that deals with Minecraft mods), and the mod pack I haven't used in around a month and all three of them came out virus free. My computer doesn't have a virus in it or else my internet protection would have already told me by now. I updated Minecraft to the latest snapshot and jumped onto the server I'm a moderator to and the sudden computer shut downs continued to happen. I can't really do anything when it keeps on shutting off my computer every time I play Minecraft, and it's going to start hurting my computer. I even tried playing Minecraft using Magic launcher with the mods Rei's minimap and optifine turned off since they're not yep updated, the computer still suddenly shuts down while playing Minecraft.
I searched and found a similar problem with MAC computers in the past. https://mojang.atlassian.net/browse/MC-6665?jql=project%20%3D%20MC%20AND%20text%20~%20%22Computer%20shuts%20down%20while%20playing%22
Since my computer isn't a MAC, I don't know how that can relate to my problem.
Don't know how anyone else can reproduce the problem that I'm having since different computers behave differently.
I have the launcher up for a while now and there's no sudden computer shut downs, so the problem might not be the launcher.

Clean up your PC. Take out the dust bunnies from the fans and heat sinks.
This is a technical support issue; this site is for bug reports only. For technical support please use the Mojang Support Center.
Sounds like a tech support issue more than a bug. Are you able to run any other OpenGL games without problems?
Your most likely culprit is either your processor overheating to the point of the motherboard's thermal protection kicking in, or your video card may be overtaxing your power supply once minecraft gets a large amount of stuff to think about drawing.
Check that your processor's heat sink is clean, seated properly on the processor, and the fan spins freely.
Check your power supply's current capabilities (there is usually a chart or list on the label of the supply) against the requirements for your graphics card (this can usually be found on the card manufacturer's website). Many high-end cards require significant amounts of current, particularly on the +12V line. Obviously this does not apply to laptops and all-in-ones, because these factors are accounted for in the design process.
For more information, check with tech support, as this ticket will probably be resolved as invalid soon (if not while I was typing all this.)
