Your Java version is out of date! Please update your Java to the latest version (1.7.0_45): http://www.java.com/en/download/.

  • When using a 32-bit browser on a 64-bit operating system the automatic version detection will only show the 32-bit version of Java, the 64-bit version needs to be downloaded manually: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp.

Please report if the issue persists with the latest Java version.

I did have the latest version of java, I guess it was because the world was so massive or something like that

Java Version: 1.7.0_09, Oracle Corporation
Java VM Version: OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (mixed mode), Oracle Corporation

That's not the latest Java.
Latest is 1.7.0_45
Use Oracle Java instead of OpenJDK

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version 14w07a / Launcher version 1.3.9 or later? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
