This bug works in both survival and creative.
1. place a sticky piston and a redstone block
2. extend the piston and stand on the arm NOT on the end
3. remove the torch
You'll fall inside the block.
On survival you won't be hurt.

The Redstone block is partially transparent and thus won't suffocate you just as glass or glowstone.
