Testing out the fireworks, they launched great. After looking up (day/night/nether) there was no initial explosion. We tested it in various locations, at various heights/clearances. (Firework from inventory)
In conclusion there was no explosion. This is reported after multiple attempts to create one.
Steps to Reproduce:
Put firework in appropriate place to launch,
Launch Firework, and look up,
Follow trail.
