[MC-44009] Minecraft crashes when I log in, due to full screen bug (I think...)

When I tried to put Minecraft 1.7.4 in full screen, it turned my entire screen black, and now I can't play. 😞

(Gamemode was none, 'cause I couldn't log in!)

What I expected to happen was...:
Describe what you thought should happen here: To play in full screen mode.

What actually happened was...:
Describe what happened here: The entire screen turned black and I couldn't click on anything, and stayed like that on every version I tried. Now, when I log it in, it turns black, no matter what.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open up Minecraft 1.7.4 on a Mac (v. 10.5.8), or anything if the bug is like that.
2. Open up menu and click on video settings.

Don't play fullscreen if your computer can't handle it.

Oh and BTW, if you see the screen WHITE, it may be a bug, as it is actually all black. D:

But when I did it once, my computer just lost it; and is all black now, and I did evrything humanly possible to fix, and nothing works! Thanks for the advice, though!

You may need to reset your Minecraft settings to default.

To do so, run the following command in a terminal: rm -fr ~/Library/Application\ Support/minecraft/options.txt
