[MC-44155] Compass North/Spawn Point

My compass seems to be pointing north instead of to my original spawn point. I've confirmed this. North can be found using the sun most of the time so a compass pointing north isn't very useful. Tell me you can change it to the spawn point!?! Thanks

This problem was resolved earlier and for most of the day but the compass is pointing north again.

Its not pointing north actually its pointing to a random location where nothing has been crafted or built.

When you break your bed, then you should spawn at that location.

Ive never crafted a bed at all. Ill try putting a bed in my original spawn location and see if it resets back to original. Thaniks.

I crafted a bed and placed it in my fort near my original spawn location and slept in it for the night and compass still pointing to this unknown location. I've never camped here or spawned here or anything. You guys were able to fix it earlier even if only for a bit, I wonder what the problem is...

I shut down my game and restarted it and the compass is working properly now. In hindsight I might've tried it sooner. Thanks for your attention
