[MC-4420] Compass randomly points in different direction in the over-world. Sometimes it points to the spawn other times it points elsewhere

Photos are taken in the same spot just a few mins apart as the compass has changed direction.

Not the first time that it happened. The first time was when I logged in at the start of playing. I didn't notice at which point it reset the first time, but I believe it did change again after these photos when I went in and out of the nether.
