I have just had an Invalid Biome id crash that happened on generation of a new creative world. The settings were on default and not on a flat map with presets. This happened on Minecraft Version 1.7.5
I have added this as the report I got for this issue seemed to be related to flat world generation and I was not generating a flat world.
