tick lag on server

This is likely a server-side issue. But to be fair, since 1.7, most servers have been experiencing lot of lag, for no apparent reason, so it may be issue with software rather than hardware.

Since you're also having MC-32850 consider to start the jar version of the server instead of the exe version.

java.exe -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.jar

it did not lower my ping.
so it is a bug isnt it?

I changed my server server to the new snapshot and iam still getting a 1000 avg tick, and i still dont know how to fix this!
also when i put it on 1.7.4 its runs smooth
