When a chicken jockey walks close to 2 block tall wall, the zombie rider takes suffocation damage as though the chicken were phasing into the wall. The chicken remains unharmed.

Is this still an issue in 14w04b ?

Just tested it, yes it is still an issue. In one instance the chicken pressed itself into a corner which suffocated the zombie, in another instance the chicken rotated itself to face away from the wall without moving away from the wall, which placed the zombie in the wall enough to suffocate it.

Just change the rate of which a chicken lays eggs, it can turn down the use of chicken farms.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version 1.7.9 / Launcher version 1.3.11 or later? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

Your Java version is out of date! Please update your Java to the latest version (1.7.0_65): http://www.java.com/en/download/.
When using a 32-bit browser on a 64-bit operating system the automatic version detection will only show the 32-bit version of Java, the 64-bit version needs to be downloaded manually: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp.
Please report if the issue persists with the latest Java version as well as the current Minecraft snapshot 14w30c or later.

While illuminating the nether I suddenly heard a baby zombie pigman taking damage. I just saw a baby pigman riding a chicken a moment before, so I checked and saw him suffocating in a block of netherrack the chicken was standing underneath. The baby pigman died and dropped a gold nugget. Snapshot 19w03c.
This also causes Chicken Jockeys to be able to attack through doors, effectively invaliding them in villages. When I first loaded up 14w02a, I was greeted to a Chicken Jockey killing one of my villagers through the door. I saw him die through the window, with nothing else inside. I assume this specific report would end up a duplicate, although I'm not sure specifically of what cause, so I'll wait to see where the duplicate marker goes and carry my information along with it.
