when going from 14w03b then to 1.7 when in the end it deletes contains of chests

i was in the end using my enderman farm but it don't work in the snapshot,so i closed and went into 1.7.4 i used the farm went back into the over world my house was still there but.

the contents of my chest were missing.
horse Armour and saddles were missing/changed there skin as-well.
all my placed blocks were fine though.

TO TRIGGER IT!!
1)put items in a chest
2)go into the end (14w03b)
3)change minecraft version to (1.7.4)
4)go back in to the OVERWOLD.
5)you will notice there is nothing i your hand or in chests.
