Villagers not breaking crops

Cannot Reproduce

I expected the villagers to break fully grown crops, which were grown with bone meal.
This did not happen.

They do, but it takes a while. For me it worked and they harvested a random bone-mealed crop after a few mins...

There must be something wrong with my damn computer then, because villagers still aren't breaking crops, even in 14w04b!
