prior to new snapshot when I left my automated furnaces they would continue to burn. Now when I come back not only aren't they but I have to pull the item out and reinsert for it to continue to cook.
Also, when I enter the furnace I noticed the animation of the flames keeps going. I waited for it to go to bottom and it took a piece of coal and restarted. It didn't show the arrow filling with white, nor did it increment the gold count. I exited the furnace and went back in to see if the animation just didn't update but still had twelve gold ignots and 3 gold ore.
I went 10,000 blocks away and came back. Not sure that you have to go that far but it's just to give you a reference of leaving the area.
