[MC-45862] in my survival world the mountain got chopped and other biome errors

biomes*swamp got smalled and pushed into the ground it destoryed my home got destroyed and mad me a little more mad than livid could describe since I had lots of stuff and my inventory got deleated other than my Xp Im flipping out hear

Back up your world first or run the game on in a different folder (See the “new profile” dialog). Snapshots can corrupt your world.

You can obviously delete the affected chunks with MCEdit or similar and regenerate them in 1.7, this won't regenerate your buildings though.
