Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have any noise go off. It doesn't really matter what kind of noise it is.
2. Open your inventory.
3. Close your inventory shortly (almost immediately) afterwords. You should end up hearing the noise over again.
Environment
Mac OSX Mountain Lion (Don't know if it happens on any other platforms, but it's possible.
