The summary was very hard to name, mostly because I have no idea how this happened, or why.

I used to have a house on top of this ravine and a secret area under it. I hid the trapdoor leading to the secret area under a jukebox. Everything used to work just fine, but I tried to do it recently in 12w50a (still not even sure if this is the cause) and when I broke the jukebox, (in creative) the game crashed, I was sent out of the game, came back, and THIS was there.

It's as if that certain area of the game was sent back in time, or caused some sort of explosion (because it messed up some of the houses nearby) because I think this is what the area looked like before I built there.

Very strange, and I'm still confused.

It doesn't seem to be caused by jukeboxes, because I tried placing one down and breaking it and nothing happened. Also didn't back up my files so now it's just gone and I have to rebuild :c

(By the way, the tree just appeared there. There was a sidewalk there before and some streetlamps)

No idea how to recreate this, sorry.

Can you attach the crash report?

The crash report is now attached.

Please do not report issues for modded clients. If the issue persists in vanilla minecraft, then feel free to post a new issue ticket.

I haven't modded it. The crash report at the bottom says it's modded for some reason. The only things I've done is use texture packs. Please don't drop this bug, this could really mess up some people's games.

Using HD texture packs IS modding.

I'm glad that 1.5 will support HD textures without mods.

At any chance, would you know why MCPatcher caused that? It's never done it before, and it's always worked before.

MCPatcher edits minecraft.jar.

Where edits occur is room for error.

Because it hasn't changed much in minecraft.jar, the effects of it may not be THAT noticeable.

Personally I would recommend using Optifine instead for HD textures.

Alright. Thanks for your help. Now I know I can always rely on you guys. c:

Also I looked back at my MCPatcher and realized it was outdated.

I bet my stupid ass was the cause of the problem, wasn't it?

No problem. And hey everyone makes mistakes. Be glad very little damage was done; your world file could have been corrupted.
