all my stuff is gone...when I wanted to try 1.0 beta on my world (that I play on with 1.7.4) all my stuff is gone! everything in my inventory in gone everything in my chests where gone now I have to start over with a house BUT NO THINGS even when I go back to 1.7.4 my stuff is still GONE!!! HELP ME!!

you do realize that if you downgrade to a version that DOESN'T HAVE THE ITEMS Minecraft quite understandably has no idea what to do with them so it removes all blocks, items, entities and features of those future updates as they do not exist. a smart way to avoid this is to add your mc version number to the front or end of your world name
Downgrading to older versions is unsupported, always best to back up your worlds.
