After playing Minecraft for a certain amount of time on high FPS speeds, the PC can overheat. There is no actual way to trigger the problem, bug occurs by chance.

Minecraft, like many graphical applications, require more processing power due to it's usage of 3d graphics. It is therefore likely to have more heat produced by the CPU and GPU. The way a system handles heat is by no means controlled by Minecraft, and therefore cannot be considered a bug within the game.
