In the latest snapshot, the foilage shade (EX:leaves and grass colors in different biomes) on sugar cane will not render, causing it to look like how it was in previous versions before 1.7.

Just a suggestion in the future, always start with the shortest search term(s) possible - I found the duplicate by using "sugar" by itself on new/open bugs and got a fairly short list. Getting too specific can hurt sometimes, especially if people spell things differently or concatenate words (i.e. "sugarcane") for some reason.
