Lighting issue with quartz stairs(corner pieces) and quartz slabs

I've been building a quartz room, and around the top edge I have upside down stairs. The ceiling, I've been using quartz slabs. When I put a quartz slab next to a corner stair piece, it creates a lighting issue on the corner piece.
