Minecraft Blinking (Not chunks)

Hello Guys! I have been having the worst bug ever! I have been dealing with it for quite some time now! My Minecraft continually blinks like every 3 seconds! It turns white and then goes back! I have tried deleting and re installing Minecraft, I have tried re booting my computer! I have looked it up! This bug has been happening since the Christmas version of Minecraft came out! I have asked all my friends but it doesn't happen to them! I even looked it up on Mojira and nothing came up still! So I didn't know what to do so I wanted to contact you guys for the solution! If you can send me a link or explain how to fix it please do! Building is starting to get really annoying with a blinking screen! I tried to get 2 screenshots but the screen is blinking too fast. I have looked up blinking MInecraft on thsi site but all that came up was "CHUNKS BLINKING RAPIDLY" but it is not my chunks are not the problem. Can you please help me find the solution because I am really really annoyed by this. P.S. I do not know if this helps but my screen starting blinking ever since the Christmas chest thing was added. Thanks and I will talk to you later. Oh and with the version text field it has happened since the Christmas chests. So maybe 1.7.2? Right now I am playing 1.7.4 and it still does it
