If you jump while placing a fence (only wooden fences, tested with other 1.5 tall blocks) underneath you, you will be able to walk THROUGH the fences hitbox. When you leave the hitbox, it will correct itself and behave like it should.
If this doesn't make much sense I will try to make a more comprehensible version
