I found a visual glitch when you are in lava and have a piston push a block into your head (maybe only creative mode, haven't check in survival) you get the suffocation screen/animation but about half of it is cut off. I have included a screenshot of the visual glitch.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version 14w11b / Launcher version 1.3.11 or later? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
