i got out of a world then decided i wanted to play it again and when i went back into the world everything in my chest weeregone and everything in my inventory was gone. everything i built was still their but all my items were gone. im sorry but i have no idea how to reproduce the bug but please still try to fix it!

Now that I think of it i was recently on a snapshot i think. im not sure. sorry it took me so long to respond
Had you opened the world in one of the snapshots, and then gone back to 1.7.4?
