Repeaters do not respond when I'm far away

I'm working on a Minecraft map called "Survival Wars", but I'm having trouble with it. If I press the start button (the wooden button), it starts the repeaters, and then it will move on to where the command blocks clears everyone's inventory, change gamemode to adventure, spread players 1000 to 2000 blocks away, and then it should continue with the message, "Get Ready!". Instead of getting the message, the repeaters stay stuck until I'm closer to them. Is this a redstone bug I'm experiencing? Please help.

I did forget to use /setworldspawn, but I won't forget that command next time.

If you get too far away the chunks unload.

How am I going to fix that? I want the redstone to work when I'm far away from it.

Then you would need to build your contraptions around the world spawn or set the world spawn around your contraption through /setworldspawn.

Thanks! It works now.
