I have made a small city map for my minecraft, and I have made a farm with sheep, cows, pigs, squids and chickens. I've been waiting forever for a chicken to lay an egg, as it is the currency in the map (using the "CreateShops" filter for mcedit). I don't know why this is, so I'm supposing it's a bug. If this is not a bug then forgive me for reporting this but I am nevertheless confused why this is happening. Thank you,

I thought it was something to do with the gamerule "doDaylightCycle" so I changed it to true, but that didn't do anything.
I know it is fine for me even w/ gamerule doMobLoot false ! Maybe if I set it to true it will stop, I have seen bugs like this before.
Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report ([minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt|http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/finding-minecraft-data-folder]
) here.
Thanks Kumasasa 🙂 although is java needed to get the eggs from the chickens or not? This is probably a stupid question but I'm not good with coding at all
One last thing: it says that I have mods installed but that's on a different profile incase this is important. Thank you for your help
The hint with the outdated Java is probably completely unrelated to the chicken-and-egg-problem.
Or do the chickens lay eggs now ?
I have waited about 10 minutes with 81 chickens and 0 eggs. I take that back, there are now >60 eggs
