Steps to reproduce:
1) Build a powered rail that steps up 15 vertical blocks (all rail is powered)
2) Build a cart launcher at the bottom
3) Enter cart
4) Launch cart
Result: Cart will travel up the incline for 15 blocks and then reverse direction
Expected result: Cart should continue up and jump off incline, or if track levels out, it should continue in the same direction.
Tested in Overworld and Nether on Mid-2009 MacBook Pro OS X 10.9.2

The bug affect every type of minecart exception made for the powered minecart who don't build up speed like the others.
Also, the minecart actually stop then go reverse because it's in an incline. If you make a minecart go super fast on horizontal rails then try to make it climb on an inclined rail (a normal one) you'll see it stop at the first rail then go slowly in the opposite direction.
I have a huge world which is connected mostly by rail. All uphill rails exhibit this problem. Had to go back to 14w10c for my rail system to work again.
Also reproduceable using a Minecart with Chest on a 10 slope full-powered rail, with unpowered starting rail. Shove the minecart onto the powered rail and it will only travel approximately 6-8 blocks before coming back to the player.
