birchwood now makes 3 doors

But 6 wooden planks into crafting table (birch) to make door. Relieved 3 doors. Is this a bug or just a new feature in the 14w11b release?

Steps:
1. Birch Planks (6) into crafting table
2. Receive 3 doors
3. Rejoice in lower cost for doors
4. Suspect bug, report to mojang.
