Boats don't reliably activate wooden pressure plates

Boats don't always activate wooden pressure plates. Because of this, water sensors don't work.
I made sure that the boat was indeed on the pressure plate and not stuck in a wall or something. Though of course, the bug where water pushes boats through walls and floors is worse than this one, and also needs to be fixed before water sensors can work.
