I hang (after months of work in single mode without any mods) in one of my home- rooms. Suddenly no movements possible and then came a creeper and exploded near me and left a black hole. After that the grafic was damaged I could change the menues but could not do something active.
Some new System starts. Always the same: Landsscape could not load.
What now? I had contact with the Support Center and they told me that they can only help with account- and paying-problems. This is really bad for me for I see no other way for my work to get it back.

Just so you know, if you don't manage to fix the problem and have to abandon the map ("Oh god no!", yeah we've all been there at one time or another) you can always use a map editor to copy your buildings/landscape into a different map. I use Minecraft Editor (what a lazy name) and MCEdit and I'm not sure what the size limit is but I've copied a 200x200x127 area before (a chunk of the far lands). Keep in mind whatever's causing the bug might get copied too, however you might be able to copy all but a sliver of the area to avoid it. If it's someone else's server there are programs for copying sections of multiplayer maps (they usually only copy the area around where you are rather than the whole map).

Thank you, Tokes, for your first aid. It is not easy for me to understand everything you wrote (I`m German and 72 years old - no joke!) but I`m pleased to read a first answer. Otherwise: I attached a lot of crash-files, why are they not useable to give a technical solution for this crash? Anyway: I will try to use MC Edit but I fear, that if the landscape does not load, I can`t load it to MC Edit.
