I was starting up my minecraft survival in which i had been playing on for the past number of months, and my inventory was completely empty. All my items and armor, even the armor on my horse. I looked in my chests and they were empty too. It seems every item i had in my world was gone. Every block i ever placed or destroyed was still there. This is really annoying as i lost so many great items. Even my achievements were wiped clean. Please can you get this fixed as i can guarantee im not the only user who has experienced this.

Same exact thing happened to me, except it happened the moment I started up my world in 1.7.6. I head seen one of the posts that had mentioned getting some items back after reverting to a previous version but nothing had changed. I`m not sure if you guys can fix this and "return" the lost items but its a damn shame considering people have spent hundreds of hours in these worlds and now a large amount of progress has been erased

You should always make back-ups before updating to snapshots, pre-releases or when downgrading
