Skins 1.7.7

I downloaded a skin to my account on minecraft. When i logged on and went to my world, i had a Steve skin. I repeated to download the skin and the same thing kept happening. I have downloaded a skin from this site
before, 1.7.5, and it worked. I checked a couple of times to see if i was offline, but I was not. I rebooted Minecraft; I rebooted my computer. Neither would work.
