Windows 8.1 64 bit. Mobs would spawn randomly at the dark corner spots (bug) which has been in the game for a long time, but never have I seen hostile mobs spawn out of them. It basically ended with a bang. (Ssssssee picture below)

No, I was switching back and forth with cheats, that picture was taken before I went back to creative.
Please, reexplain, what exactly is the bug here ?
Hostile Mobs spawning in dark areas ? This is not a bug...
He's talking about those spots that are buggily at block lighting zero and sky lighting zero even though they shouldn't be. You can see one on the church 1 floor up on the outside. Of course mobs spawn there because of the lighting level, but the bug is the incorrect lighting level. To reproduce simply visit any ravine that hasn't been visited before. Pretty much every spot that has a block above it is artificially enveloped in light level zero. Or did they fix the ravine thing while I wasn't looking?
In my experience standing in the spot forces it to eventually update, unless it's 1 block big and on the ceiling (maybe your feet have to be in it for it to count?). Also placing torches in it fixes it, but that sometimes reverts next time the map is opened.
"Wasn't really fun getting chased down by 6 creepers." At least they weren't running. Yes, sprinting creepers is a thing now. They run to get out of range if another creeper is about to explode, but if the angle is just right they run straight at you. I call them Zerg Rush Creepers.
