I think the picture speaks. If i remove the redstone and place a new one, it wil keep this strange form

Can confirm this happens. But redstone acts different with when you make a T shape

the redstone model has been changed and the texture has been rotated 90 degrees, see the discussion on the page this is a duplicate of
