Were they naturally generated, or placed there by you?
Can you provide a seed and location if naturally generated?
I can't reproduce by attempting to place sugarcane on leaves with water adjacent to them.

Please edit your summary to something more descriptive. "Sugar Canes" in itself is not a bug, you may want to change it to something like "Sugar Canes can naturally appear on leaf blocks" if you believe that is the bug.

They were naturally there.
I didn't put any seed for map, only random map
And than i saw that sugar cane's on leaves
And i was playing in survival mode

Can you type /seed into the console, press F3, then F2 to take a screenshot please.

Marko, can you open your world and press the T button on your keyboard and then type in /seed ? That will give you the world seed. Additionally, if you press F3, it will give you X and Z coordinates of your location. Both of those items would help test the issue.

I have the seeds of the map: -5995964561411035830
I cant find that place exactly but it must be in some nearest jungle biome

Yea that's it.
I just wantedt to show you that guys

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

No response to query, assuming fixed.
