Soooo, I don't think this is supposed to happen, but then again, something dead doesn't shake water off. Ik wolves always shake water off after they've been put in water and come out, but I don't think they're supposed to shake off water even when they're dead. Ok, so, the story was that I was just playing around in my newly-created singleplayer Minecraft amplified world, and since I was in creative mode, I decided to spawn a wolf in using a wolf spawn egg. After I did so, I put the wolf on the lead and just flew around with it, putting it in water and stuff because there was really nothing else on that amplified world to do. After putting it in water, I continued to fly around with it still attached to the lead. Then, I accidentally flew too close to the ground and the wolf died. But I noticed water particles coming off of it's carcass. It was shaking the water off and even making shaking sounds a split second before it's carcass automatically disappeared in the air like it always and normally does. I tried that 3 more times with 3 more different wild wolves in creative mode and they still did the same thing, with shaking the water off right before their carcasses automatically disappeared and all. I then decided to try it with tamed wolves (or dogs), wild wolf pups, and tamed wolf pups (or puppies). They all still did the same thing as well. I don't know how long this has been going on for, but I still don't think something dead shakes off water. If it's alive that's normal, but dead? Btw, Minecraft wolves, pups, dogs, and puppies WERE obviously harmed during the testing. Good news: at least they weren't real wolves, pups, dogs, and puppies c:. Below is a screenshot I took of one wolf shaking water off a split second before it's carcass disappeared vvvvv.

@Blah I'm fully aware that dogs and puppies ARE real. But they aren't really in the game. They're just some mobs that are coded with textures and are also coded/programmed to fight automatically if you just hit something, either with your hand or your sword (but not with your bow for some reason?). Don't get me wrong, Blah, because I love dogs and puppies (including wolves and pups). It's just that...well...these are kinda...fake.
I actually cannot confirm if this is a bug or not. Tested it, and the water particles didn't show up.
@Blah Ok, I tried it again, and this time in a regular world (NOT an amplified one) and the water particles, shaking sounds, and shaking itself showed up for me. You must have Minecraft 1.7.9 (I can only confirm it in that version since I tested it in that version), you must be in creative mode, you must spawn a wolf with a wolf spawn egg, put a lead on it, fly in the air until the wolf comes off of the ground, fly down, with the wolf still attached to the lead, into water, then wait a few seconds and pull the wolf up and away from the water, and then fly down and the wolf should die immediately if wild, and then you should see water particles come off of the wolf carcass, hear shaking sounds, see a bit of shaking until the wolf carcass disappears. Also, you might need Windows 8 as well, because this glitch might only work on Windows 8, I'm not sure...
Ok. I can now confirm that this is intended, as the dog was still shaking the water off after it got out of the water. Only wolves/dogs do this.
EDIT: Found the issue. You said in the description of the report that when they go in the water to "wait a few seconds". However, all mobs suffocate in water after an estimate of 20/25 seconds.
This will now be considered invalid.
@Blah Ok then, thanks. I knew it happens when dogs are alive, but I wasn't sure if it was intended for dead dogs as well. I guess I'll just leave this here then (since I can't delete it), and try to find more TRUE unnoticed glitches, but there isn't much to find. And if there is---it's gonna be hard to find them.
EDIT: Oh....wait then. So I guess it really isn't a glitch after all anyways (even though I partially knew it was a glitch but then still thinking "Well what if it is...?")? I can't really say how long they should be in the water since I never really count secs while playing Minecraft....maybe 17 secs at max now that u say that all mobs drown within 20/25 secs of being in water. Thanks anyways though.
In your description, you say that they aren't real puppies or dogs.
"Good news: at least they weren't real wolves, pups, dogs, and puppies c:."
Invalid.
