Certain sounds do not work when using the /playsound command.
For instance:
/playsound random.fuse @a
Will not produce any sounds, when it should, in fact, play the fuse sound.
/playsound random.fizz @a
This, however, does work.

There is no "random.fuse". Please check the wiki before reporting any sound that doesn't appear to work: http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Sounds.json
